This policy explains what personal information The Fitting Room ("we", "us") collects through this website, how we use it, and your choices. Contact: hello@shopfittingroom.com.

What we collect

• Waitlist sign-ups: your email address, if you choose to give it to us.
• Messages: anything you send us by email.
• Usage data: basic technical information such as your browser type, pages visited and the referring site, collected by our hosting provider and, if used, privacy-friendly analytics.
• Affiliate link data: when you click a link to a retailer, our affiliate partners (such as Sovrn Commerce) and the retailer may use cookies or similar technologies to record that the click came from us, so that a purchase can be credited. These partners act under their own privacy policies.

How we use it

• To email you when The Fitting Room launches, and with occasional product updates you can opt out of.
• To reply to your messages.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it.
• To receive commissions from retailers for purchases made through our links.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your email for third-party advertising.

Legal basis (UK and EU visitors)

We process waitlist data on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. We process usage and affiliate data on the basis of our legitimate interest in running and funding the site.

Who we share it with

• Our website host (Cloudflare), which hosts this site and stores waitlist sign-ups.
• Our email provider, when we send launch emails.
• Affiliate networks and retailers, only as described above.
• Authorities, if required by law.

Cookies

This site does not set its own advertising cookies. Affiliate partners may set cookies when you click through to a retailer. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist emails until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, or until we no longer need them for the purpose above.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under UK GDPR, EU GDPR and US state laws such as the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, and to object to or restrict how we use it. Email hello@shopfittingroom.com and we will respond within 30 days. UK visitors can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Children

This site is not aimed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
